Clinical Professional Development (CPD) - Airway Management / Advanced Life support

CPD-Airway/ALS

This course is designed for clinicians who want to refresh their airway management and advanced life support skills
You will cover;
  • Basic airway management
  • Use of basic Adjuncts (OPA / NPA)
  • Supraglottic airways (I-Gels / LMS’s and King LTD’s)
  • Laryngoscopy and use of magill forceps
  • Intubation
In the afternoon we will put these skills into use and look at advanced life support including
  • Cardiac arrest rhythms and manual defibrillation
  • Good quality CPR / Airway management
  • Cardiac arrest drugs
  • Reversible causes
